designs for animated short

Hey everyone, I thought I would post some designs for an animated short I am working on. Its a personal project im doing in my spare time.

I don't want to go into too much detail, but I got very excited today because I received the final designs for the first character. Im working with a concept artists/illustrator called Leo Bennett, and he sent these over today, they really capture the character I'm after, so hopefully we see more of the same soon.

Here are the first finalled designed of the 'Guard' character for my short:

New Despereaux Poster

This new Poster for 'The Tale of Despereaux' has just been released

I have to admit I really like it, and it focuses on the main character more, which i think is a good thing. For those of you who have read the book, you'll know that there are in fact 3 main stories, each with a different lead character, however for the purposes of the movie I think it makes sence that Despereaux himself get stop billing.

The Despereaux Crew!

hey all, just wanted to post a small update, we had a group pictures taken taken of the crew for 'The Tale of Despereaux'. This is everyone on the crew, as it stands on 12/09/2008.

I only just got there in time, so im way out on the left!
